Wow, July just flew by. I spent most of the month working on Jewelry for my daughter. I made her earrings, necklace and a bracelet (she doesn’t know about). Then I made bracelets for the bridesmaids as a thank you gift from my daughter. Everything turned out to be so beautiful. I can’t wait for her to see them in person. My phone didn’t capture the true colors of the bracelets, her earrings, necklace and bracelet. Oh, I tell you what, those Swarovski bicones I used in her necklace and bracelet look awesome. Her wedding is the end of August. I am excited for her.
I didn’t get this finished last month. There is good reason for that. I got sick on the 8th of August, and it wasn’t until the 11th that I talked to my doctor. She gave me antibiotics for bacterial infection in my stomach. I did not feel better until the 17th. I lost 15 lbs. during that, but of course I got it back when I started eating again lol.
So, the wedding was beautiful. My daughter was gorgeous and the groom handsome. I’m so very happy for them. I got to see a lot of old friends from the old neighborhood. You know old and new friends. Good food and music.
Well, I let all my kids and grandkids know that we will be moving to Eldridge Missouri next year. We were offered an opportunity to move there with my very best friend/sister. New home on 5 acres and another 120 acres to forage on. Nice sized craft room for her and I. then an office for my partner/friend. It will be nice not to have the hustle and bustle of cities. No trains, planes and automobiles. No light pollution so you can see all the stars on a clear night.
Now I’ve got to get ready for the bazaar season, that’s if the park has one, Mobile home park where I live. I also need to make my grandkids Christmas ornaments. Every year I make each of them an ornament. That is the only gift they get and have for many years. They love them. I never knew what to get them. They are all grown but one who is 14 now. Just hate giving gift cards. The ornaments have more personal touch.
I’ve rambled on enough. I will write again soon. Next time maybe about things I’m making. Like ornaments, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
